"EcoTech 2014"

10th Anniversary Central Asian International Exhibition-Forum on environmental technologies, waste management, industrial water treatment and “green” innovations – EcoTech 2014 was held in Almaty. The event was held from September 17-19 in the IEC “Atakent”. 30 companies  from the UK, Denmark, Germany, Italy, China, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Finland presented their displays. Official support for the event was provided by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UNDP, Administration of Almaty, National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, “Zhasyl Damu” JSC.

«West Dala» LLP took an active part in this event by presenting its booth. In addition to the exhibition, company representatives participated in the international conference “Development of infrastructure for waste disposal in Kazakhstan” in the roundtable “Modern technologies of processing and recycling of industrial and domestic waste,” in the next meeting of «KazWaste» Association, which took place in the framework of «EcoTech 2014″. Also, in addition to its own stand, the company has been presented as a member of the Association at the «KazWaste» booth and
as a partner at the “Tengizchevroil” booth.

As a result of participation in this event, «West Dala» LLP strengthened relationships with existing customers and contractors, and developed new collaborations. As an expert in the field of an integrated management of all types of waste, specialists from Environment department and PTD gladly answered the questions, exchanged information and shared with professional skills. The company received an ward for the “Best Stand Design” and a membership certificate from the «KazWaste» Association.

A lecture on “Waste Management and Spill Response” was held at Kh. Dosmukhamedov University. Environmental specialists from West Dala — Ainagul Sagiyeva and Islam Sagynbayev — conducted an engaging session with students, highlighting the key principles of environmentally responsible waste management. The focus was on modern approaches to safe disposal, reducing environmental impact, and the role of business in building a sustainable environment.

The “Innovative Ideas” competition was held in the Atyrau Region to support talented youth and develop their scientific research and inventive potential. Specialists from West Dala — environmental engineer Aigul Sagiyeva and chief technologist Minara Massalimova — were invited to serve as members of the jury.
