From 20:30 to 21:30, the Earth Hour International Environmental Action took place to draw attention to the need for a responsible attitude to nature and the resources of the planet. This year, Earth Hour in Kazakhstan is dedicated to the theme of nature conservation in the country.
Conference 2016, was deduced to the development of Kazakhstan “Green economy”. The program included three sessions:
- “Green economy”: experience Kazakhstan. Problems and prospects;
- Practical realization of the principle of extended obligations for Kazakhstan produces and importers;
- “Kazakhstan’s experience in industrial waste management: Problems and prospects.

West Dala, LLP made a presentation for the subject: “Prospects for the development of industrial waste management”.
Roundtable of Kazakhstan Association of waste management “KazWaste” was dedicated to: “Problems of cooperation between mineral resources companies and waste management companies“.
