The seminar “Local Content in Goods: Strategic Development of the Country and Industry,” organized by the KazService Union of Oil Service Companies in partnership with Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) and took place on October 11 in Atyrau city. It served as a platform for engaging domestic manufacturers in the company’s major projects. More than 160 participants from over 50 enterprises attended the event.

The speakers included Rashid Zhaksylykov, Chairman of the Presidium of the KazService Union of Oil Service Companies; Kudaibergen Arymbek, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Serik Shapkenov, Akim of Atyrau Region; Kamil Akatov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Science Fund”; Murat Amrin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the NCE “Atameken”; Kevin Lyon, General Director of Tengizchevroil LLP; Marat Zharilkassynov, Western Region representative of the “Industrial Development Fund” JSC; top managers of key companies in the oil and gas sector, and leading industry experts.

“TCO representatives noted that after the launch of the FGP/WPMP, the company will focus more on the maintenance of equipment, both previously installed at KTL and SGP plants and new equipment at the 3GP and 3GI plants. The company also expects an increase in local content in the supply of goods thanks to local companies, which is already being facilitated: two contracts with local suppliers were signed directly today at the seminar,” noted Viktor Kysykov, Project Manager at West Dala LLP in Tengiz.

It should be noted that our company has been a partner of TCO since 2008, providing services in comprehensive waste management for production and consumption. This partnership is backed by several general service contracts and master agreements, highlighting West Dala LLP as one of the leading companies in the waste management, capable of providing high-level services for tank cleaning of any complexity using modern solutions without human entry into the tank, and offering technological solutions for complex requests.
