REVIEW

BOLAT BAYSHIGANOV, Waste Management Execution Superintendent, NCOC

I would like to acknowledge the painstaking and important work done on the separate collection of waste oil, in accordance with the requirements of environmental legislation in 2019. From the beginning, West Dala turned to Kazakhstan's largest producer of technical oils on this issue, with a proven track record of collecting used oils in other regions of the country. A series of meetings were organized with experts and company managers to discuss the best technical solutions.

NCOC has implemented changes to the collection, storage and transport of waste oil within its facilities, with consultation talks and meetings held with work sites where waste oil is generated. Within 3-4 months, the company introduced a system for the proper collection of waste oil by type. For its part, to improve the process and the quality of used oils, West Dala purchased and installed the units for purifing used oils from mechanical impurities and residual water.

I would like to note the readiness of the company's management to solve operational and technical issues on a high professional level.
