RISK MANAGEMENT

In July, a training session on “Risk Management” was held as part of implementing the recommendations following the ISM recertification audit.

The training was attended by 16 employees of West Dala, including department heads and production site managers.
Intertek representative — Sanym Willmot — spoke about work planning and risk identification in production processes, as well as ways to reduce overall business risks through conscious risk management.

Zhanbolat Yelubayev, Head of the Compliance Department:
— The seminar ensured a unified understanding of the approaches to planning, assessing, and mitigating risks at the departmental level. All managers were introduced to best practices in risk assessment and management, as well as ISO 31000 standards. This laid the foundation for the systematic integration of risk management into daily operations.

On the eve of the New Year, West Dala congratulated 570 children in the Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Children from the Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities, the Berkan Brain Center, the Yuri Gagarin School, as well as children from the Almaly rural district, Tupkaragan, Makat, Makhambet, and Kyzylkogha districts, received New Year's gifts and a festive atmosphere.

West Dala joined the United Nations Global Compact — the world’s largest international initiative for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility — in 2023.

This year, West Dala held a series of events dedicated to its 20th anniversary. However, no anniversary is complete without a proper celebration, so on December 5, at our business evening, we celebrated the company’s milestone together with colleagues, partners, and clients who have shared this journey with us. Around 100 guests gathered at the N. U. Balgimbayev Communication Development Center to reflect on how it all began and to honor our achievements.
