VISIT

The representatives of the Regional Environmental Council of the Atyrau Regional Branch of the "AMANAT" party together with the leadership of the Department of Ecology and the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Regulation of the Atyrau Region, visited Waste Management Facility (WMF) and the Integrated Landfill of West Dala LLP.

During the tour, our employees at both facilities demonstrated the equipment and methods that used for waste and wastewater management.

At the WMF, the guests were introduced to the operation of:
• A rotary incinerator for the disposal of liquid waste, oil sludge, and oil- and chemically-contaminated soils;
• A thermal demercurization unit for the removal of mercury from all types of fluorescent lamps and mercury-containing equipment;
• A high-temperature facility for environmentally safe treatment and utilization of various types of waste.
The delegation also visited the sorting section and organized areas for temporary storage of waste and recyclable materials.

During their visit to the Integrated Landfill, environmentalists and government representatives observed landfill maps for hazardous and non-hazardous waste, designed in compliance with all environmental requirements. Delegation members were introduced to the full-cycle wastewater treatment process and the method of microbioremediation — an innovative approach for cleaning oil-contaminated soil and disposal oil and drilling sludges using biopreparations.

We are pleased that representatives of the "AMANAT" party and government agencies explored the operations of West Dala LLP facilities. The company continues to make a significant contribution to the region's sustainable development and demonstrates modern approaches to addressing environmental protection issues.
