Koshanai Waste Management Facility (WMF) was visited by the Executive Secretary of the Amanat Party, Kairat Tangul and the Chairman of the Tupkaragan District Maslikhat, Aisagali Nughmanov.

During the tour of the WMF territory, the Company’s specialists presented the operation of the incinerator designed for environmentally safe high-temperature waste treatment. The guests were also shown the wastewater treatment facilities (WWTF) for receiving and disposal domestic wastewater and the storage pond for treated effluents. Additionally, the specialists explained the technology of the UTG unit used for the thermal treatment of oil and drilling waste.

The guests explored various sections of the facility, including those designated for receiving, sorting, treatment, disposal, and neutralization of different types of waste. Following the visit, Kairat Tangul and Aisagali Nughmanov highly appreciated the work of the Koshanai WMF and expressed their gratitude for the informative tour.

From 20:30 to 21:30, the Earth Hour International Environmental Action took place to draw attention to the need for a responsible attitude to nature and the resources of the planet. This year, Earth Hour in Kazakhstan is dedicated to the theme of nature conservation in the country.

The warmth of this month helped strengthen social ties and energize them for new beginnings after the winter.

West Dala took part in a community clean-up event in the Tupkaragan District of the Mangystau Region, organized as part of the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan and the nationwide environmental campaign Taza Kazkahstan.

In honor of Nauryz, West Dala prepared and delivered food baskets to the Atyrau Society of Persons with Disabilities. This year, a small assistance was provided to 8 elderly people with disabilities.
