West Dala has won an award in the category «Industrial Waste Management Leader». The award ceremony took place at the VI Eurasian Business Forum «Green Energy & Waste Recycling Forum» - 2022 (GEWR) in Nur-Sultan. The Kazakhstan Waste Management Awards (WMA) 2022 is an independent public award recognizing the best achievements and innovations in waste management. The event is held at the initiative of the Kazakhstan Waste Management Association «KazWaste» every two years as part of the GEWR business forum since 2018.

This year, this award recognizes the achievements of 8 companies among 42 nominees. The winners were determined by a panel of experts based on the results of evaluations of submitted applications and assignment of points. The commission included: Shynbolat Baykulov - Chairman of the Commission, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Waste Management Association «KazWaste»; Duslan Akhmetov - Head of the Association of MSW Recyclers, Disposal and Waste Management Organizations «AWOK»; Azamatkhan Amirtai - President of the Republican Public Association «Environmental Alliance» «Baitak Bolashak»; Askar Ementayev - Director of the Department of Environmental Regulation of the Kazakhstan Association of Oil and Gas and Energy Sector Organizations «KazEnergy»; Galina Artyukhina, Executive Director, Kazakhstan Association of Nature Users for Sustainable Development; Laura Malikova - Chairman of the Association of practicing ecologists; Ramil Disembaev - expert of Eurasian Industrial Association.

This is the second time the company has been awarded the Waste Management Awards in the same category, demonstrating West Dala's commitment to an integrated approach to waste management.

West Dala's driver, Rishat Imashev, was featured at the quarterly Drivers Forum organized by NCOC due to his high performance on IVMS reports and commitment to safe driving.

Nauryz was solemnly welcomed in the Kuryk district center. Artists from the region performed at the festive concert, and young people competed in traditional sports such as sheep raising, archery, and asyks.
