WORLD CLEANUP DAY

On September 16, West Dala employees participated in the city's campaign for World Cleanup Day 2023. This campaign was organized by the Department of Ecology of Atyrau oblast together with enterprises, eco-activists, and volunteers of the region. Six thousand participants of the cleanup day cleaned the Ural embankment from the Mechnikov Bridge (Civil Status Registry Office) to the bridge on S. Beibarys street, from the Mechnikov Bridge (Civil Status Registry Office) to the bypass bridge in the Atyrau micro district and the Ural embankment of the Regional Children's Hospital.

"More than 40 of our colleagues are actively participating in the cleanup day. This is not our first cleanup event. I always fully support such campaigns and I hope that young people do not stay away either. After all, this is our city, our land. We cannot remain indifferent. Our goal is to keep the city clean, and we can provide this ourselves," said Kamshat Takhitaliyeva, an employee of West Dala, to the Atyrau Press correspondent about the conducted campaign.

About 150 tons of garbage were collected during the campaign: it was glass, plastic bottles, rubber, paper, and metal. All collected garbage was sent to the landfill of "Spetsavtobaza" LLP.
